San Antonio 2009
This past weekend we took a wonderful mini-vacation to San Antonio - this was our first family vacation with just the three of us and it was perfect. We headed out early Saturday morning, stopping on the way at San Marcos for some outlet shopping, then headed on to San Antonio. Saturday night we had dinner at Aunt Becky's and we were able to meet up with Aunt Becky, Rachel, Emily, Grammy & Papa. It was great to be able to see family we hadn't seen in awhile. Then Sunday we spent the day hanging on the River walk - i just love it. Monday morning we were off to Sea World and then headed home. Caleb did so well on the trip, I was surprised, even in the car for 5 hours straight on the way home...he had a lot more patience then I did!! I can't wait for our next trip...we are thinking Houston next.

James Turns 26!!
James was very glad to have gotten another Xbox game for his birthday, this one just came out. (Caleb looks like he is sleeping but he's not).
At the end of February, the Bosworth's came out to visit us for the week. James was able to spend a lot of time with them, I had to work but I did take Friday off and we sent Caleb off to school. It was so nice to have a "grown up" day, we went to the Stockyards and to the Water Gardens in Fort Worth. The Water Gardens sound like they are so cool but I wasn't impressed much. Jeff was able to get a lot of pictures though. Then Friday night, poor Caleb had a baby-sitter and we all went to Dave & Busters, I completly love that place..it's like a grown up Chuck E Cheese. We all found some games that we could win a ton of tickets and came up with all sorts of stuff from their "store" including a food chopper (James has really been wanting one but we never thought about it when we'd go to Target or Wal-Mart). It was so nice to have some grown up time, now that Caleb is older and really loves his teacher (she is also his baby-sitter) James & I are trying to make sure that we go out more often. Here are some random pictures from the last couple of weeks.
In the Stockyards, James found himself a new hat

I never realized my boys had matching shirts, until I put Caleb's on him and James said he had the same one

This was a complete outfit before Caleb had a few mintues to himself and apparently he doesn't like his pants or one of his socks.
