Last weekend Caleb got to meet one of his favorite characters up close, Thomas the Train! He even got to go on a 25 minute train ride with Thomas pulling the passenger cars, he was was so excited. Caleb loves trains, any time he sees a train he will say "choo choo" and "all board" There are a lot of trains that come through town and we cross about 4 different tracks just to get from our house to his school. He loves it when we get stopped by trains and he even recognizes where the tracks are now, so if there is no train, he'll say "no train". It's so cute how he gets excited whenever he sees a train, so riding Thomas was a big deal. I can see that we will have many train rides in our future. Here's Thomas....

There was a petting zoo at Thomas too, Caleb was very excited to see the animals but once we were in the petting zoo he wanted Mama to touch all the animals. He liked chasing the bunnies but would pet any of the animals.
Here are some other pictures of the fun things we have been up to. Our friends come over for dinner a lot and have a little girl, McKayla, Caleb and McKayla are best friends and love to play together.
We were very happy to have Uncle Phil come and visit us. He was able to spend two weekends with us since he had a conference during the week in Dallas. I enjoyed having him around especially since James was working both weekends, I loved having the extra set of hands around.
And I'm very happy to say after not being interested in all in reading, Caleb loves to read now. He can read his own version "Brown Bear, Brown Bear" all by himself. It's so cute.
