Portland - September 2009

Here are some pictures from our trip to Portland, we were there from Aug 29th to Sept 6th. It was so great trip. We celebrated Caleb's 2nd birthday a little early and had a birthday party at my dad & stepmoms, it was so great to see everyone and catch up. Caleb is very thankful for all his new toys to play with.

Caleb showing off to his uncles, his new moves he learned.

We spent one afternoon over at the Children's Museum... it was the water center that won Caleb's heart!

After the museum, we stopped by the Rose Gardens. They are so beautiful and it was perfect timing, everything was in bloom.

Next stop onto Grammy's house for dinner where Caleb got to play with his favorite animal....a dog. He become friends very quickly with buddy.
My favorite time of the week was when we went to the Oregon Coast (I really miss the beach). We visited the Oregon Coast Aquarium.
We saw the Sea Lions and heard them.

Oh how I love the Oregon Coast!

After getting back from the beach, while James and Phil were flying Grammy, Caleb, Darrel and I were off to the Oregon Zoo.

While cleaning up after dinner at Grammy's Caleb's uncle thought he should become a super hero..... Meet Super Caleb!

Every super hero needs hugs and loves from Grammy.
Now it's time to party! The wonderful cake and cupcakes made by Terri! Thank you Terri, they were so tasty.
Our Party Guests

Caleb had his own cake. This time went a lot better then the first, he was actually interested and eating his cake. :)

He loves cards that make music, thank you Granddad and Nana. :) He loves to sing and dance along.
He loves animals and was so excited that his baby animal book makes noises! He copies the animal sounds whenever he reads his book.

Now it's time to go back home to Texas. It was so great getting to spend a week at Granddad and Nana's and seeing all of our friends and family.
We were so thankful at the ticket counter, the women bumped our seats so that we had a row all to ourselves, so we had more room and a seat for Caleb.
