Mr. & Mrs. Bonner

It was a week ago today that Katie & Phil tied the knot.  We headed up to Portland for a long (short) weekend trip for the special occasion.  Caleb was the cutest ring bearer and James was a handsome groomsmen, it was such a wonderful trip seeing family and celebrating Katie & Phil.  I spent a lot of time thinking I can't believe that my baby brother is getting married!! It seems like just yesterday I was taking him to 7-11 and then I take a look at my own family and think I am a mommy of three wonderful kids and Caleb is getting so big.  He was so cute walking down the aisle and so serious about it, he practiced quite a few times when we were at the rehearsal the night before.  I was such a proud mommy when people told me he was so cute and did a good job.  Time seems to go by faster as you get older. Whatever happened to the days when I never though that summer break would come, now it's more like what my brother is old enough to get married and my son is going to kindergarten in a year.  Sunday Darrel stopped by in the morning before we caught our flight home and it was so fun to watch him trying to get Cait & Court roll over and crawl (he taught Caleb how to crawl too).  My brothers are all grown up and I am so proud of who they have become.  While Phil is beginning his life as a married man, Darrel is off to India next week to help children in an orphanage.  Children definitely have a special place in Darrel's heart, I see it whenever he is with my kids.  I am truly blessed and so thankful for my brothers, husband and of course my wonderful three. Cait & Court, You're Five Months!!

My little princesses oh how the time has flown by so fast and you are now 5 months old, just another month and you'll be 1/2 year old!!     
   On Monday you had your well check and you ladies are amazing, you just keep growing and growing.  Caitlin you are now 14.3 lbs (39%) & 24.5 inches (30%) while Courtney you are off the charts at 16.66 lbs (85%) and 26.5 inches (93%).  Caitlin you drink 6oz every 3 hours but it seems like you are ready to catch up to Courtney's 8oz every 3 hours.  You both are in size 6 months clothes although Caitlin could probably still fit in 3 months but it's easier for mommy if you wear the same size.  Caitlin you have been rolling over for at least a month.  Every time you are on your back within seconds you are rolling over and have learned how to get where you want by rolling over and over until you get there. Courtney you have just started rolling over but prefer to be sitting up, you are the Bumbo queen, your sister never gets a turn. When you are laying on your back you have started trying to pull yourself up so I think you'll be sitting up in no time.  On Wednesday we are off to watch Uncle Phil tie the knot and when we get back it's time for you to start eating rice cereal and veggies!!  Mommy puts you on the floor together at least once a day and it's so much fun to watch you interact, Courtney you are a bit of a bully though, you always are pulling your sister's hair, putting your legs on her and pushing her around.  Caitlin I am always remind you that you are older and shouldn't let your little sister push you around. :)  Caitlin and Courtney we love it when you smile and laugh, anytime you do, we do the same thing over and over to keep you laughing.  Ya'll love to watch your big brother, Courtney I usually put you in the Bumbo and ask big brother to play with you, especially cars.  Once time I even sat  you in there and had big brother run around the couch and you just watched him in amazement.  Caleb is always acting silly for you girls, he loves to make you laugh, always gives you kisses and tells you that you are beautiful and that he loves you.  Watching the three of you interact is so special and melts my heart, I am so blessed I get to watch the three of you grow up together.  I love you, my baby girls!!!
