A White Christmas

We are thankful that we had another year where James & I were able to be home from Christmas Eve to New Years Day.  Granddad and Nana made the trek down from the NW to spend the week with us.  It was a wonderful Christmas break spent with lots of family time, relaxing, enjoying the snow and checking out a few local sites.

Christmas Eve, Caleb made sure to put out the reindeer food so they would know to stop at our house

Christmas morning we were woke up by the sounds of thunder and sights of lighting.  The kids were excited to check out what Santa had brought

Granddad & Nana came over to watch us open the rest of the gifts.

Courtney's First Christmas Present
 Caitlin's First Christmas Present
Courtney was very excited for her Little People Princesses!
and Big Brother was very excited for Lego Batman Wii

In the afternoon it began to snow and the next day, Caleb couldn't resist anymore, he had to go out and play

He had a snowball fight with the girls
and when Nana came over he talked her into having one too and they built a snowman.

After the snow had cleared, we went to SEA Life Aquarium in Grapevine

and if you are Caleb and Daddy, you can't go to Grapevine without stopping at Founder's Plaza at DFW Airport to watch the planes on the way home
Grandpa and Grandma even stopped by for a visit and of course brought the kids more presents!!

There were decorating of gingerbread boys & girls and time sent playing Cars Monopoly.

And no trip to North Texas isn't complete unless you stop by Caleba's and have an Elk sandwich

Wishing you all a wonderful New Year!!!
