Our Oregon Trip March 27-April 4, 2012
We visited the Tillamook Cheese Factory, while watching the baby loafs being cut and packaged, Caleb told us that he wants to work there one day and that he can have free cheese. James asked Caleb if he could have free cheese too and Caleb told James that James can work there too. :)
On the way back to Newberg we stopped in Lincoln City at Cape Lookout so that James could get some photos of the Oregon Coast. Caleb was disappointed that he couldn't get in the water, this is the closest he was able to get.
Aunt Katie and the boys that she watches met us at OMSI. Caleb had fun playing in the water exhibits and looking at the Lego artwork with his new friend. They even spent time building with Legos, every little boys dream.
Uncle Phil joined us at the Evergreen Aviation Museum where we spent one morning looking at airplanes, Caleb's favorite plane was the one with teeth. The museum has changed so much since the last time I was there, 2 new buildings and a water park with an airplane that is on the roof and part of a water slide. We didn't experience the water park but enjoyed lunch at the Cafe and Caleb went on an airplane ride. Maybe he'll follow in Uncle Phil's footsteps and become a pilot one day.

Caitlin & Courtney did wonderful for their first airplane ride and trip to Oregon. Caitlin & Courtney spent the plane ride sleeping and just woke up to eat while Caleb watched movies on our tablet. It was good to be back in the Northwest, it had been about 2 1/2 years since our last visit even though it rained all the time except for one day. Caleb loved having his uncles around to play with him and Caitlin & Courtney enjoyed being spoiled by everyone. It was so wonderful to spend time with my family, you don't realize how much you miss people until you spend time with them again. Thank you to Uncle Don & Aunt Debbie, Derrick & Ashley and Jason & Ellie for making the trip to Newberg to meet our new additions.
