I finally gave in and we got Caleb's haircut, nothing major of course just a bit around the ears, back and the top. Caleb did really well, he got a little fussy when she squirted the water and after he noticed that she was cutting he got fussy, he wanted to keep his hair. There was no big throwing fit or anything, it wasn't completely embarrassing or unmanageable. The place that we took him is very cool, it's Cool Cuts for Kids and there are video game centers set up, a movie, a Thomas train table and you can even watch movies while you are getting your hair cut. Caleb got to watch Elmo, there were a few times when he would start watching the movie but then he remember he was getting his haircut and would get fussy again. Caleb had his 9 month check up last week, he weights 20 lbs & 7.5 ozs and is almost 28 inches tall! Which means that it's time for him to move up to the big boy car seat, so we put it in the car and he loves it. I think he really enjoys being able to really see everything that is going on around him and he even has a cup holder for his bottle! It makes it so much easier to give him things when he is fussy and if he is grumpy you just turn around and look at him and he smiles. Here's a pic of him in his new car seat and then a pic of him in the bath. Caleb loves bath time, he crawls around the tub and splashes getting water everywhere. Then of course he thinks it's funny and laughs.
